CPR
At their June 2023 meeting, ACDH Council decided to update the College’s CPR policy to allow a 30-day grace period for CPR certification renewal. This means that you now have 30 days following the anniversary of your CPR certification to complete your recertification. However, despite this 30-day grace period, CPR must be current at the time of renewal.
The updated CPR policy is available on the ACDH website.

Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics
It is the responsibility of all Alberta registered dental hygienists to comply with ACDH's Standards of Practice.
Council approved 19 Standards of Practice (SoP) and the updated Code of Ethics (CoE) at their June 2023 meeting. The new SOP and CoE will come into effect August 1, 2023.
Registrants will be required to declare upon renewal that they have read and understood their SoP and CoE.
