Bylaws
The Council, as governing body of the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta, establishes and maintains the CRDHA Bylaws pursuant to section 132 of the Health Professions Act.
The bylaws deal with the manner in which the College operates and conducts its business.
Among other things, the bylaws specify how Council governs the activities of the College by:
- Specifying how Councillors are elected or appointed
- Setting fees for registration and assessments
- Establishing and appointing the Registration and Competence Committee members and appointing the Hearings Director
- Establishing and amending a Code of Ethics and any Standards of Practice for the practice of dental hygiene
