CRDHA Member Awards

The CRDHA sponsors Awards to recognize CRDHA members who:

  • demonstrate excellence in their practice and 
  • have made a significant contribution to the dental hygienists profession. 
Marilyn Pawluk Mabey Award
The Marilyn Pawluk Mabey Award was established in 1978 to honour and perpetuate the memory of Marilyn Pawluk Mabey, a member who enhanced the profession of dental hygiene in Alberta by modelling clinical competence, instructional excellence and professional development. Marilyn was an exceptional educator, role model and advocate for the dental hygiene profession. Joanne Clovis Community Health Award
The Joanne Clovis Community Health Award was established in 1987 to recognize the significant contributions of a dental hygienist to the oral health of the community. The nominee must be a CRDHA member in good standing who has contributed to the oral health of their community through active community service, oral health promotion or through a major oral health project. The deadline for nomination for the Joanne Clovis Community Health Award for 2012 is February 15, 2012.  read more ...
